In collaboration with several Albertan, the Dehcho First Nations and national support organizations, the Polaris Institute of Ottawa, with input from the DFN, has been callinged for a moratorium on expansion of the Alberta tar sands especially due to the impact on the Dehcho's water and environment from the Athabasca tar sands. Check out the new website at www.tarsandswatch.org and there you will see one of the links is reserved for the Dehcho. This is part of the DFN's growing southern support network tghrough our communications team.
